If there's a dynamic duo in fashion that's slaying at the moment, it must be Carine Roitfeld and Karl Lagerfeld. Their lucrative relationship began a few years back when Carine styled a Chanel campaign (a task she holds to this day) and the rest seems to be history. Up until today they have worked on fashion shows, exhibitions and books and their latest collaboration is a really special one.
Since Harper's Bazaar decided to name Mrs. Rotifeld their Global Fashion Director, the fashion flock was waiting for something like this - a 30 page fashion shoot dissecting all of the most important trends for fall, as well as featuring the most prominent (and coolest) names in film, music and fashion. And boy did she deliver for the UK edition of the magazine.
The person behind the lens? Well, The Kaiser, of course. The photos are everything you'd expect from Carine and Karl - simple black background and natural poses that allow the true beauty and talent in front of the camera come through in the best possible way. Young movie stars such as Lily Collins and Zoe Kravitz and of-the-moment musicians such as Grimes and Angel Haze clad in the best of autumnal fashions by the likes of Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent are probably the best possible way to let fall in.
